YOUR JOURNAL STAYS YOURS
Privacy policy
Plus Ultra is a local training journal. We do not receive your workout data.

What stays on your device
The app stores your exercises, routines, programs, workout history, notes, training profile and preferences locally using Apple’s SwiftData and UserDefaults. You can use it without an account.
No tracking or analytics
The app has no advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs or developer-operated server. It does not collect device identifiers, usage analytics or location and does not request Health read access. We do not sell or share your training data.
Optional Apple Health and Watch
Apple Health workout export is off until you enable it and grant write permission. Plus Ultra exports completed workout times and a general activity classification, without heart rate, location, exercise names, notes or estimated calories. It requests no Health read access. While export is enabled, correcting or deleting local history updates or removes its exported workout. Turning export off leaves existing Health workouts in place; manage those records and permissions in Health. Consent and export bookkeeping stay device-local and are excluded from complete training archives and system device backups. The optional Apple Watch companion exchanges training with the paired iPhone through Apple’s WatchConnectivity. Core training works without a Watch or Health permission.
Backups and deletion
Profile → Workout data exports complete .plusultra archives and workout CSV files. Files are processed locally. You choose their destination; a cloud drive or other app you select may transfer them under its own policy. Restoring a complete archive replaces local training after preview and confirmation. Device backups may include app data, depending on your Apple settings. Plus Ultra does not provide its own cloud sync. You can delete individual routines, custom exercises and workouts in the app. To remove all local app data and preferences, delete the app through iOS Settings. Offloading preserves its data. Manage previously created backups separately in your Apple settings.
Optional music links
A saved playlist link stays in app preferences. Opening it hands the link to Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube Music through iOS. The service processes that request under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your listening activity or music account information.
